MILFORD, Conn. — A fatal shooting in Milford, Connecticut, is under active investigation after police discovered two individuals suffering from gunshot wounds inside an East Broadway residence during the early hours of Wednesday morning.
According to the Milford Police Department, officers responded to reports of gunfire at approximately 2:56 a.m. at a home located on East Broadway. Upon arrival, first responders found two victims inside the residence with apparent gunshot injuries.
One victim was pronounced dead at the scene. A second victim, identified as an adult woman, was transported to a nearby hospital for medical treatment. Authorities have not released information regarding her condition.
Police have withheld the identities of both individuals pending family notification and further investigative procedures.
